Student ambassadors will be handing out care packages at Gerstein on March 21, 2 – 4 p.m. and Thursday, March 24, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The team will have 250 kits to give out near the Book Spot leisure reading collection on the main floor of Gerstein, across from the service desk.
Organized by Student Life, the special "Exam Ready" kits are designed to help students get through the busy and often stressful exam period a little more easily. The kids include a pen, sticky notes, hand sanitizer, granola bar, earplugs, and reusable cutlery, as well as a guide with exam prep tips and workshop dates, and campus and community mental health resources.
The initiative is part of a greater Student Life campaign to help students get #examreadyuoft with a range of activities on campus and social media over the week. If you a kit at Gerstein, you can find other locations as well as more information on the week's activities at https://studentlife.utoronto.ca/campaigns/exam-ready/
