Pick Up & Play is a sports and recreational equipment lending program that launched in Spring 2024. As part of the Gerstein Science Information Centre's ongoing commitment to supporting student wellness, a collection of outdoor games and sports equipment is available to borrow:

- Badminton set (NEW!)
- Ball pump
- Football
- Frisbees
- Ladder ball set
- Soccer ball
- Scoop ball set (NEW!)
- Toss and Catch set (NEW!)
- Volleyball
Where: Short Term Loan Desk, Main floor
Who: Available to all current U of T students, staff, and faculty
Borrowing Policy:
- Items can be borrowed for up to 5 hours. No renewals are permitted. Items should be returned promptly so other borrowers can benefit from them.
- Items cannot be reserved ahead of time.
- Items must be returned to the Short Term Loans Desk, Gerstein Science Information Centre, during opening hours.
- Items must be returned clean and free of dirt/mud.
- We reserve the right to charge a replacement fee, if an item is lost or appears to be damaged. No fee will be charged if the damage is beyond your control.
