The goal of this edit-a-thon is to create and update Wikipedia pages for individuals in health sciences belonging to the Black community, in order to highlight their scientific research, role in health policy, and/or science communication, as well as focusing on underrepresented topics in Black Health. No previous Wikipedia editing experience needed – beginners are welcome!

Overview:
· Discover our new Black Health & Pedagogy Research Guide
· Get a crash course on Wikipedia editing
· Create/update Wikipedia pages in an open editing session
WHEN: Thursday, February 27 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm
WHERE: In-person at the Gerstein Science Information Centre (Alice Moulton Room, 2nd flr)
WHO: Open to all current students, faculty, librarians, and staff at Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Toronto, and York University.
